1. Activation
An application does not create an affiliate relationship. A partner account becomes active only after Story By Anyone approves or invites the partner and the partner accepts the current agreement through their private onboarding link.
2. Referral links and codes
Active partners receive a unique referral link and/or code. The account-specific onboarding page states the customer discount, commission rate, click-attribution window and customer-relationship window. Partners may not transfer or sell their account.
3. Commission calculation
Unless an account-specific agreement says otherwise, commission is calculated on the eligible amount actually paid after customer discounts, excluding VAT. Refunds, chargebacks, fraud and cancelled transactions reduce or reverse commission. Commission is initially pending for 14 days before becoming available, unless an account-specific agreement states otherwise. If a refund occurs after commission has already been paid in cash, the resulting adjustment may be carried forward and reconciled before further payouts or credit conversions.
4. Attribution
A valid referral link or affiliate code can attribute a first purchase during the stated attribution window. Once a valid paid first order establishes a customer relationship, eligible purchases by that customer may continue to generate commission for the account-specific relationship period. Story By Anyone may correct duplicate, fraudulent or technically incorrect attribution.
5. Story By Anyone Credits
Available commission may be voluntarily converted into Story By Anyone Credits at the account-specific bonus rate. A conversion is final. Credits are promotional service credit, may only be used for eligible Story By Anyone purchases and cannot be converted back into cash after conversion.
6. Cash payout
During the launch phase, cash payouts are handled manually after the applicable minimum balance has been reached. Story By Anyone may request identity, business, tax or payout information before payment. The partner is responsible for providing accurate information.
7. Transparent promotion
Partners must clearly disclose commercial or affiliate relationships whenever applicable and use platform disclosure tools where available. Partners must not make misleading claims, impersonate Story By Anyone, misrepresent prices or rights, or conceal the commercial nature of a collaboration.
8. Self-referrals and abuse
Self-referrals, artificial purchases, fraud, manipulation of attribution, unauthorised brand advertising and other attempts to generate unearned discounts or commission are prohibited. Story By Anyone may pause or terminate an account and reverse affected unpaid commission.
9. Program changes and termination
Future discounts, rates or program rules may be changed or paused. Valid commission already earned under an earlier rate is not retroactively reduced solely because a future rate changes. Either side may end the collaboration, subject to settlement of valid outstanding balances and any applicable legal obligations.
