1. Essential storage
The service uses first-party cookies or equivalent browser storage to remember a private guest project, keep a short list of projects created on the same device, protect Story Vault and administrative sessions, maintain security and return the customer to the correct step. Starting a new story changes the active-project pointer but does not delete the previous project. These functions are necessary for the service requested by the user.
2. Payment and embedded services
When the customer continues to Stripe Checkout, Stripe may use its own cookies or similar technologies for secure payment, fraud prevention and checkout operation. A private audio player may also make technical requests needed to stream a signed audio file.
3. Analytics and marketing
No optional analytics or advertising cookies should be activated without an appropriate consent mechanism. If optional tracking is introduced later, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before that tracking is enabled.
4. Managing storage
Browser settings can delete or block cookies and local storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent a private story session, Story Vault access, project switching, checkout or admin login from working correctly.
